[1] Of seventeen sales held at the Hôtel Drouot on this date, only that held in Salle 10 included modern paintings. The results of that sale published in the _Gazette de l'Hôtel Drouot_ on 18 May 1922 do not include any works by Cross. [2] Reproduced in Lucie Cousturier, _H.E.
