A Cheyenne dress collected by the Rev. Heinrich R. Voth. Max Bear and David Ramos of the Cheyenne delegation from the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma made these comments during the Recovering Voices Community Research Visit November 3-6, 2015. Max noted that it was good that someone had the foresight to collect this. Not many cloth dresses have survived because they were not collected like the buckskin dresses. David noted that this dress is cut the same way as a woman's buckskin dress. Modern dresses are cut straight down, not in the A-line.
