Callan Castle was originally the home of Asa Griggs Candler, founder of the Coca-Cola company. Finished in 1903, this home was designed and built by George Murphy. Candler lived in this home until 1916, the year he was elected mayor of Atlanta, when he moved to a new home in Druid Hills.
