Bronze Skull - Late Jurassic 150 Mya - Wyoming
The Camarasaurus differs from many other sauropods for its larger head
and large, spoon-shaped teeth. The many holes in the skull - called "fenestra" by paleontologists - were the inspiration for its name. Camarasaurus is Latin for "Chambered Lizard."
