This Camarasaurus skeleton is an amalgam; bones from at least three different camarasaurs were used to build this impressive mount. Very few dinosaur skeletons are considered "complete." In order to build full skeletal mounts, bones of many individuals can be used, as long as they are from a dinosaur of the same size and species. This particular mount is nearly 90% real bone, collected from a single dinosaur quarry in Thermopolis, WY.
