The painting, part of the cycle of frescoes dedicated to the Romano hero Marco Furio Camillo, shows the episode in which the hero eroe decides to punish the teacher from Falerii. The teacher, having persuaded his pupils to go out of the walls of Falerii, besieged by the Romans with deception, hands them over to the Romans betraying his own city. Furio Camillo has him undress, tied down and brought back to the city. Photo: Simone Lampredi
