This is a replica of the Cammin Shrine which disappeared in World War 2. The original of this reliquary casket was created more than a thousand years ago in Scandinavia, and later reached the cathedral treasury of the Bishopric of Cammin. The shrine is decorated with animal and plant motifs in the so-called Mammen Style, a Viking art style which survives in only a few precious finds.
