Painting of an Italian peasant girl in Lazian regional dress. Her right arm rests on a large pillow on top of a pillar, while her left hand holds a tambourine. Cabré painted it as a practice piece when he was a student at the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando) in Madrid between 1900 and 1908, with a grant from the provincial government in Teruel.
