The authentic symbol of the Jewish people is the menorah – a candlestick holder with seven candles also known as the seven-lamp. Seven-lamps illuminated Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem. A seven-lamp could be presented to a synagogue. On the candlestick holder there is the name of the granter “Gabbai rabbi Ishua Klatskin”.
