Candlestick with Scenes of Animals Fighting

This brass candle holder was made with a repoussé and chasing technique. Its flower-like bottom rim is adorned with a dated inscription of blessings to a named personality; the outer reveal is made of repoussé honeycomb-like humps displaying animal fighting scenes.
