This 1927 model vacuum cleaner was one of the first types sold by the Mauz und Pfeiffer Elektrogerätebau company of Stuttgart under the Progress brand. The enclosure is plastic. This plastic is made of phenol and formaldehyde. It is reinforced with wood fibre that was added to the mould during the high-temperature, high-pressure moulding process. The motor is rated at 260 watts.
