Caravaggio moves - A dance, a movie and much more

Students of the Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium, the Lycée Jean-Renoir, as well as the youth ensemble "InBetween" are mostly in front of the camera for the first time - for a short film in the context of the exhibition "Utrecht, Caravaggio and Europe".
Together with a team of six dance artists from Fokus Tanz München, the art education department of the Alte Pinakothek and the filmmaker Severin Vogl, they spent weeks studying the paintings of the Utrecht Caravaggists, rehearsing in class, copying gestures and emotions from the pictures in the exhibition, and then translating them into their very own movements.
