Around 1940 a manufacturer made this plastic miniature card deck. The cards are about the size of Scrabble tiles and just as thick. Packaged with the cards are four metal racks, for assembling a 'hand.' Probably these cards were designed for games like gin rummy, when all cards are held until the winning hand is reached. A rummy scorepad is packed with the tiles and racks in the box.
