The Decker Brothers of Buffalo, New York, developed their own version of a question-and-answer card game in 1899. Similar to McLoughlin Brothers' Grandmama's series of educational games, this game somewhat resembles today's games of Trivial Pursuit. The "Game of the World" featured questions both historical and geographical. An educational game, it was meant to appeal to the well-meaning parents or other adults who bought games for children.
