Best known in the games industry for his 1960 design of The Game of Life for Milton Bradley, inventor Reuben B. Klamer designed many other games and other toys during his long career. One clever example is the 1965 card game Bird Brain. A relatively simple matching game like rummy, Bird Brain utilizes a plastic spinner for players' card draws. Along with a clever bird-themed card holding platform, the game was marketed as "cagey" and fun for the whole family. Graphics resemble other MB games from the 1960s--bright and slightly kooky.
