Many card games from the later 19th century for young children drew a character or situation from popular nursery rhymes. The game of Ba-a Ba-a Black Sheep, by McLoughlin Brothers, is one such game. Although it lacks an instruction sheet it appears to be a matching game, similar to Old Maid or Authors, but simpler.
