Though the box is empty of contents, the Game of Six Nations is unique in its title and cover portrayal of a Native American. The Six Nations, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy, was a unified group of different Native American tribes who lived in the Northeast United States and Canada, at the time of European migration to this country. A high quality and early McLoughlin game, this example came in a wooden slipcase box with paper label applied. And its inventor, Elsie Rymer, is also marked on the box cover.
