Selchow & Righter's 1882 game Ge-o-graph-o is a matching style game using two sizes of cards. The larger cards represent the 48 states and territories in 1882. Smaller cards represent six features for each state. Players collect features for a state card they hold; the winner gets all six first. Differing from other matching games such as Authors, Ge-o-graph-o's instruction sheet plugs it as "both amusing and instructive" just as so many games of the late 19th century were.
