The Good Old Game of Oliver Twist is a card game produced by George S. Parker (later Parker Brothers) of Salem MA. This is a matching type game with the characters from Dickens' story. However, there is only one Oliver card and one Artful Dodger. Both offer advantages to the player who holds them but they can be drawn by another player at any time. Drawing the Oliver card a player must shout "more!" and each other player must give a card. The game points to the enduring classic tale and the popularity of such matching card games. The box cover illustration was taken directly from the 1838 illustration, drawn by George Cruikshank.
