Banner, cream, yellow, brown striped silk or synthetic fabric ground, top border of applied green wool felt with appliquéd floral design of red and green satins, details embroidered in metal braid, gold paint and couched yellow wool and green cotton, applied side borders of gold and blue silk ribbon with woven green wool key pattern, appliquéd with red silk satin hearts, lettering 'CAROLINE HERSCHEL' painted in white and outlined in yellow couched wool, appliquéd circle of yellow silk with applied cotton fabric painted with gold stars and outlined with green, gold and cream silk cord, lined with red cotton sateen. Used at the Jun 1908 NUWSS Procession [National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies (NUWSS)].
