Otto Hagborg was a Swedish painter who studied fine arts in Paris between 1880 and 1883. He had a particular fondness for genre scenes and landscapes, which encouraged him to journey to Brittany on several occasions between 1883 and 1886. He met Paul Gauguin in Pont-Aven.
