Carriage Cushion Cover (Reindeer in Octagon with Heart Band Border)

This is the only example observed that combines a reindeer medallion with a wide band of hearts at each end. The minor borders are typical, although the colours are unusual for this area. There are seventy-two hearts in all: the impending wedding must have been very much in the mind of the weaver.
