Hand-carved cypress fireplace mantle with motifs associated with Louisiana, including a crawfish, a steamboat, a man on a horse, a fish, a nutria, a deer, two pelicans, a wild boar, a lumberjack, and an alligator. At top right is a book with pages carved LKW and LMW, for Lewis Kemper Williams and Leila Moore Williams.
