Casket of the Bull Pía Sentencia

According to the tradition and the inscriptions on this casket, in it the bull granted in 1661 by Pope Alexander VII was brought to King Philip IV. It permitted worship of the Virgin’s Immaculate Conception through the mediation of Luis Crespi de Borja, bishop of de Orihuela, depicted on the lid.
