Figure with black face, turban, breeches and a rich cloak in blue and gold. It is a representation of Caspar, the Moorish king, one of the Magi who visited the Infant Jesus in the manger.
This figure is part of a nativity scene in Neapolitan style. The scene shows the manger with the Infant Jesus in a Roman ruin. The three Magi, other figures and villagers and city dwellers parade in the theatrical scene, together with an extensive angel choir.
