A torn page from a book/manuscript containing a greyscale reproduction map of the mooon's surface. Original was drawn by Domenique Cassini (i.e., Cassini I), and this reproduction was printed in limited numbers by his grandson, drawn by Jean Dominique (i.e. Cassini IV). The edges of the page are torn and frayed, although the general structure of the page is still intact. The left 2/3 of the page are taken up by the drawing of the moon's surface, while the right 1/3 of the page is taken up by a NOTES section, describing the drawing and various features of the moon.
