This carnivorous tyrannosaurid theropod dinosaur lived during the late Cretaceous period about 77 to 76 million years ago. It was excavated on the Bureau of Land Management's Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Utah. The original specimen is curated for BLM by the Brigham Young University Museum of Paleontology, catalog # BYU 8120/9396.
