Cathedral of Pisa

One of the two landscape nocturne known in the artist's work, next to the View from the window of the artist's studio in Munich, is a kind of "portrait" of the cathedral in Pisa under the invocation of Our Lady of the Assumption (Santa Maria Assunta).
