Creator of American Girl dolls and books, Pleasant Company's digital line expands their branding into the games and software for girls market. These products create a synergy with their existing character lines so that young consumers can experience their favorite stories in a new way.
This installment features the Amelia Notebook series written and illustrated by Marissa Moss and published by American Girl from 1997-2003 (the books were previously published by Tricycle Press from 1995-1997). With this interactive CD-Rom, users can craft their own journal pages (just like Amelia's), experiment with creative writing, and create new graphics and typography.
American Girl also hosted an Amelia-themed website called Amelia's Desktop for computer users. Support was discontinued in 2004.
