Cecilienhof Palace, the crown princess' private chamber

Cecilie's cabinet connects the dressing room with the bedroom shared by the crown prince and princess. The curved staircase leads to the cabin, Cecilie's cabinet in the shape of a ship's cabin on the ground floor. The wooden mouldings in front of the flowered wallpaper give the impression of a garden salon. The white-painted carvings on Cecilie's built-in wardrobes can be seen on the right. (Tina Czeninga)
