Cecilienhof Palace

Cecilienhof Palace
Potsdam, Germany

From the cour d'honneur, the path leads across the driveway into the entrance hall - the vestibule - which served as an anteroom to the former living hall and conference room. The room is divided into two areas and is dominated by a large alcove with a brick fireplace. A special feature is the panelling of the walls and doors made of waxed oak with a so-called linen pleat pattern. (Sonja Puras)
