"I took my first quilting class after I retired in 1976. Quilting and all that goes with it became a major part of my life. My husband and I enjoy visiting textile exhibits in cities we visit and have bought more fabric than I'll ever be able to use. This quilt was inspired by a huge floral centerpiece of chrysanthemums with the many leaves and plumes of dyed pampas grass."
