A silver censer on a round tray with a container in the form of a stylized image of a mosque, decorated with a carved floral ornament. The use of incense is an important part of Islamic culture Fumigation of mosques and houses is an integral ritual performed on holidays and every Friday (a sacred day for Muslims). For this ritual, incense burners (bahur burners) are used - special containers made of metal, wood, stone, etc., in which bahur - pieces of agarwood, soaked in essential oils, are placed. Bahur burners of similar compositional structure and solution of decorative space in the 18th and 19th centuries were a fairly common product of cult purpose among Muslims of the Ottoman Empire.
