Centenary of the birth of João Gaspar Simões (1903–2003)

This medal pays tribute to João Gaspar Simões, a prominent figure in Portuguese culture. He worked as a proofreader at the Imprensa Nacional (Official Priniting Office) and, in the 1940s, served as director of its Library.
