Central portal

On the right of the central arch, specular to the apostles, are the prophets of the ancient Testament with the frygian hats, their rolls recall the commandments: you will love your God, you won't kill, you won't fornicate, you won't steal, you won't crave, you won't use the name of God. At the entrance of the central portal the colums are based on two lions, one headed towards the north and the other towards the south; the manes are tight to the skin, their mouths open; instead of the eyes are two holes, for the solems celebrations glass eyes were inserted. Under their paws one cruches a winged dragon, the other a bovine; they symbolize the resurrection of Christ and his victory over evil.
