Several artists including José Mondéjar with "Cela as mayor of Zumarramala", Caty Juan del Corral with "Metaphysical portrait of number 1" or Vicente Escudero who portrayed Cela from behind defining his unmistakable profile, dedicated portraits to the figure of Camilo José Cela
