This is one of the women’s official crowns worn together with a ceremonial robe outfit. Placed on top of the head, the crown was shaped with several-fold dark-blue silk and stuffed with cotton. It is decorated with sculpted jade openwork of the Chinese character for longevity (壽) on the front panel, fortune (福) on the rear panel, and happiness (禧) on both sides. The coronet is also adorned with a white jade lotus flower in the middle, and coral with a pearl as a stamen is attached on its top. It was worn with a ceremonial robe or long jacket.
