This is a ceremonial long jacket, called Dangui of the consort of Imperial Prince Yeong. It is made of jade-colored silk with designs of peaches, pomegranate, and fingered citron. Dangui jackets were usually worn by women at court or by upper class women for minor ceremonies. It is longer than an ordinary top garment with deep slits on both sides, and has narrow sleeves with white extended cuffs attached at the end. For the royal household women, circular insignias were attached and gold-foil printings were added to the jacket, and a ceremonial coronet or crown, lone and side skirts with hems, and leather shoes were also worn together with the jacket.
