This stone plate portrays a mythological bicephalous spider carved at its base. The faces of the spider have feline traits and its legs are represented in pairs: two pairs arranged up and two down, and between the upper and lower pairs are incised bird heads. The spider is an animal that in the Andean religion is linked to the transit between life and death, and birds are related to the upper world. In the early Andean religions, the Spider has a major role in the rituals of fertility of the earth. (UH)

Este plato de piedra presenta una araña mitológica con dos cabezas incisa en su base. Los rostros de la araña tienen rasgos felínicos y sus patas están representadas en pares: dos pares dispuestos hacia arriba y dos hacia abajo, y entre los pares superiores e inferiores cabezas de ave han sido incidido. La araña es un animal que en la religión andina está vinculado al tránsito entre la vida y la muerte, y el ave está vinculada al mundo de arriba. En las tempranas religiones andinas, la araña decapitadora tiene un rol principal en los rituales de fertilidad de la tierra. (UH)
