In the Third Cloister of the Certosa Cemetery lies the tomb of Count Sebastiano Tanari, who died in 1809. The monument's painted design was entrusted to two artists: the decorative painter Francesco Stagni and the figure painter Giovanni Battista Frulli. After the death of Marchioness Brigida Tanari dei conti Fava Ghisilieri, a central plaque was added with a long inscription dedicated to her: "LIBERAL AND DEVOTED TO ITALY / WHEN TO LOVE HER REQUIRED SACRIFICE".
