Located at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance housing project, the mural, produced by MU, is the last one in the series representing the four elements. After an impressive overcast sky (L’air du temps, 2012), the majestic Saint-Lawrence River (Au fil de l’eau, 2013) and an hyperrealist Mount Royal (Terre d’accueil, 2015) artist Philip Adams – who was in creative residency at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance during the creation of the mural – depicts the fire using a colour palette that offers a striking contrast within the others murals of the series. The mural depicts the city of Montreal at twilight, seen from the top of the mount Royal.
Angel Ezequiel Herrera Lopez and Stéphanie Harel assisted the artist throughout the production of the mural.
