Women living in the mountainous regions of Badi Town, Danba County, still keep the custom of wearing no pants. With just a short skirt, they would often hang from belly a bunch of wool yarns in alizarin red, called “Chacha” that dangle between legs, just like the practice of the primitive people using leaves or animal fur to cover important positions of their bodies.
