Chain gang uniform manufactured by the Perfect Pants Mfg. Company, Fitzgerald, Georgia, c.1935. Herman Richard Kaminsky founded the Perfect Pants Mfg. Company in Ashburn, Georgia in 1934, then moved the company to Fitzgerald, Georgia and received a contract to manufacture the state's chain gang uniforms. The company name was changed to H.R. Kaminsky & Sons, Inc., and continued to make pants for men and boys. The company is still in business today.
