Extremely high quality Viennese work. It has an undulating base divided into three broader and three narrower fields. In broad fields rise cherubim heads on clouds, and over them a motif of a shell with volutes. The base rises stepwise with rounded transitions. The pear-shaped node repeats the division of the base. The bowl of the chalice is gently bent, placed in a casing richly ornamented with Rococo C volutes, shells and sheaves of wheat.
