Charm made of coiled copper wire and cowrie shells sewn on leather. It is believed to protect one from the spirits of mukwavi. If a person falls ill and the cause is mukwavi the medicine man gives this to the person to prevent it from happening again. The charm was made by a giriama medicineman from kaloleni and the leather used is from the skin of a special cow.
