Milu Correch is a renowned Argentinean artist widely recognized for her large-scale murals that challenge aesthetic and moral conventions. She has gained a reputation as one of South America's foremost figurative muralists, thanks to her exceptional talent as a painter and provocateur. Correch was inspired by the work of well-known Argentinian muralists Lean Frizzera and Emy Mariani, which led her to think in terms of square meters and upscale her sketches to the size of buildings in 2011.
Her narrative-based paintings, influenced by literature, film, and illustration, combine her personal research on local histories with the rich tradition of Latin American muralism.
