The westernmost of the fiberglass Muffler Men on Route 66, this "Statue of Liberty of Los Angeles" stands watch over L.A.’s Highland Park neighborhood. Originally perched on a 1960s fried chicken restaurant’s rooftop along Broadway (Route 66) in downtown L.A., he was saved by gallery owner / graphic designer Amy Inouye and moved here in 2007.
