Chilbo Hairpin with Flower and Butterfly, Bee, and Bird Designs

Hairpins in the shape of butterflies alightiny on chrysanthemums or plum flowers are typical of those during the Joseon Dynasty. The flowers and butterflies are in cloisonne; the backs of the butterflies and heart of the flowers are decorated with corals and realgar.
