Child Labour

A young boy carries a block of stone on his head,in what looks like a construction site. The young boy’s hands are bent carrying the weight of the stone with a wilful look in his eyes and drops of sweat appear on his upper lip from a long day’s work under the sun. The angle and the closeness to the child from which the photograph is taken makes it special. 1979 was named as the “ International year of the Child” by UNESCO. The reverse of the print has notes by Satyan.
