Signed and dated David klöker fecit 1651. In the central position of the composition sits probably the daughter of Carl Gustaf Wrangel Eleonora Sophia on horseback, while her brother Carl Philip Wrangel is watching playing the drum. This painting is one of Ehrenstrahls earliest works and was painted in 1651 during his stay at Wrangels residence in Wolgast. This painting is often regarded as an allegory of the life of Eleonora Sophia Wrangel, surrounded by her living, as well as non-living brothers and sisters.
